Account Managers are the first line of contact for our customers. We count on them to gain the trust of customers, maintain open lines of communication and to collaborate with the sales, operations and purchasing departments to ensure product availability. The ideal candidate will be confident, well-spoken and willing to continue to learn as the markets change and grow.

- Ability to complete basic computations in relation to pipe and tube measurements

- Strong intrapersonal skills that will allow you to build rapport with prospects and relationships with customers
- Adaptability to working with diverse people groups
- Willingness to learn new ERP systems and adjust processes to reach maximum efficiency
The ideal candidate would have the following preferred qualifications:
Education:
- Associates or Bachelors Degree focusing on Business Administration or similar field
- Proven work experience equivalent to the knowledge gained with a college degree
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Previous experience in the steel industry
- Experience building needs-based quotes, bids and sales orders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Excellent persuasive techniques and ability to direct a conversation
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math skills
Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary office work using computer and phones for majority of work day
- Ability to travel to meet clients and prospects
- Ability to navigate warehouse environment when necessary
Salary Range:
$40,000 Guarantee + Uncapped Monthly Commissions
