Aladdin Steel, LLC is proud to announce the appointment of Brittany Christy to its Senior Leadership Team, a milestone that reflects her dedication, growth, and lasting impact on the organization since joining the company in 2018.

Brittany’s professional journey is rooted in a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for learning. She graduated from Blackburn College in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Marketing, drawn to the school’s unique work program that allowed students to gain hands-on experience while reducing the cost of their education. That early balance of responsibility and opportunity would become a consistent theme throughout her career.

Before beginning her professional career, Brittany learned the value of reliability and care at a young age, spending her teenage years babysitting on weekends and throughout the summers. During college, she worked all four years in Blackburn’s Admissions Department, where she gained invaluable experience in customer service, organization, and communication. One piece of advice from her manager—to always answer the phone with a smile in your voice—left a lasting impression and continues to guide Brittany’s professional approach today.

Following graduation, Brittany interned at the Magnuson Grand Hotel, where she shadowed the General Manager and learned every aspect of hotel operations. Her talent and commitment quickly stood out, leading to a full-time role after graduation. Over the next several years, she advanced from Assistant General Manager to General Manager, a position she held for two years. Her leadership experience in hospitality laid a strong foundation for the next chapter of her career.

In May of 2018, Brittany joined Aladdin Steel as an Accounting Clerk, a role that aligned perfectly with her skills and interests. Since then, she has become an integral part of the organization, known for her attention to detail, positive attitude, and willingness to help wherever needed. Her continued growth, combined with her deep understanding of the business, has made her a natural choice for senior leadership.

Outside of work, Brittany describes herself as a proud homebody. She enjoys spending time at home with her partner, Zack, and their two cats, Buddy and Gizmo. She’s an avid reader with a goal of finishing at least 52 books a year, loves a good Netflix binge—especially cringey reality shows—and makes regular trips to Champaign to visit her family. A self-proclaimed picky eater, Brittany still embraces trying new foods (with the exception of fish) and is well known among colleagues for being easily motivated by good food.

Looking ahead, Brittany’s goals reflect both loyalty and ambition. She hopes to continue building her career at Aladdin Steel until retirement and plans to pursue online accounting classes to further expand her expertise.

Brittany’s appointment to the Senior Leadership Team is a testament to her hard work, leadership, and commitment to Aladdin’s values. The company is excited to see her continued impact and leadership as she helps guide Aladdin Steel into the future.
